Skateboard Deck: Albuquerque, NM

This skateboard deck was from my Albuquerque friends, Kyle and Amie, that put me to work on my last visit.. I love you guys and thank you for taking me in and getting me out of that travel pickle! Anyways.. this image is a little Dr. Seuss meets Horror meets Myth. It's called 'Icarus; Post-Mortem' and I have no idea how this popped into my head.

This piece was for my great friends at Kyle and Amie of Kamio Media. They are the ones responsible for the sweet mural painting video earlier on this blog..

3-Ds More stuff in the Blue Parrot Show...

Here's some of the 3-D Off-Canvas stuff on display at the Blue Parrot...These pieces ate all fairly large ranging from 2.5 feet to 4 feet wide/tall. Titles are 1) Banana (i think) 2) Origami 3)Blue Parrot (duh) and 4)Mass Appeal (yeah I went there) Two quick notes; The giant origami crane is displayed with a proportionate dropping of bird poop next to it.. Here's a few more from the "Just Like Gravity" series. The complete series and much more will be on display at the Blue Parrot Bistro in Gettysburg, Pa starting on Monday January 14th. If you're not in the area, I will be putting most everything on this website after the show begins... but I must mention, that I am a terrible photographer so everything on here probably looks better in person. (I hope) As for me; I'm bumming all over the west coast right now and won't be back until the end of march; hope you enjoy the show!
